James 3:17 (NIV)
17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
The wisdom of Heaven is considerate.
When we think of the attributes of God, we often separate them. We ask for them separately as well. We ask for the wisdom of God, the love, the peace, and the joy of God. However, we forget often that everything good originates from our Creator God. God not only loves us. His essence is love. He is not simply wise. His essence is wisdom, and He is the essence and origin of all wisdom.
Because all immaterial goodness is contained within the spirit of God, we also experience it through our communion with the Holy Spirit. But again, these are not piecemeal things. All that is good is contained within the essence of God. We cannot separate God's attributes from one another any more than we can divide God into many different categories. He is God, and in Him is love, joy, peace, wisdom, and all goodness.

Because of this, if I want to have wisdom, I must also have love, and love is considerate of others always. Some people will speak wisdom without love; though the maxims may be wise, they fall flat because there is no love. A person who does this attempts to play Solomon, but instead of cutting a baby in two, they try to divide God.
The Bible says God will not crush a bruised reed. In other words, when God deals with us, He considers the state of our spirit. If we are already beaten down, He is aware, and alters His approach is in consideration of what we are going through. We must learn to do the same for others. If we don’t, we are cutting God into pieces, and He will not stand for this. Instead, He will withdraw Himself more, and we never experience the fullness of all that He is.
Prayer: Lord, let me put others first and consider the state of their mind, body, and spirit before I speak. Amen.
